CAVE CITY POLICE MAKE ARREST AT SAFETY CHECKPOINT AND ARREST TWO ON DRUG CHARGES PDF Print

Cave City Police  Officer Terrill Riley arrested 59 year old Keith Martin of Horse Cave Saturday night. Martin was stopped at a safety check point in Cave City, Saturday night, after a brief investigation officer Riley was able to determine that Martin was under the influence of alcohol and or drugs.

Martin was arrested and charged with OPERATING A MOTOR VEHICLE WHILE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL/DRUGS (AGGRAVATED CIRCUMSTANCES).

Martin was lodged into the Barren County Correction Facility.  Riley was assisted on scene by Officer Allen Shirley and Officer Jason Morgan

 

 

Also on Sunday, Cave City Police Officers Jason Morgan and Alan Shirley was dispatched to 305 North 1st Street on an incomplete 911 call. After arriving at the residence Officer Morgan and Shirley knocked on the door contact was made with two suspects inside. A strong odor of a chemical was coming from inside the residence, 20 year old Landon Logan of Glasgow and 29 year old Jessie Davis of Cave City admitted to Officers that they had been making METHAMPHETAMINE inside the residence. There were several items that are commonly used to make the drug in the residence. Such as starter fluid ,pseudoephedrine, sulphuric acid, coleman fuel and other items.

Both Logan and Davis were lodged in the Barren County Detention Center and have been charged with MANUFACTURING METHAMPHETAMINE 1ST AND 2ND DEGREE.
