CAVE CITY POLICE MAKE TWO WEEKEND ARRESTS PDF Print

On Saturday May 3rd, 2014 Officer Jason Morgan of the Cave City Police Department made two DUI arrests.

 

Around 8:20 PM, Officer Morgan received a call of a possible intoxicated driver leaving the KFC in Cave City. Contact was made on Happy Valley Street with 53 year old, Johnny Lovell of Glasgow. Through investigation, Lovell stated that he was under the influence of a controlled substance. Other controlled substances were located on Lovell prior to being transported to the Barren County Detention Center. Charges include: Operating a Motor Vehicle under the Influence of Alcohol/Drugs,First Offense  and Possession of Controlled Substance.

 

At 10:57 PM, Officer Jason Morgan conducted a traffic stop on 50 year old, Rick Howard of Glasgow, for an equipment violation. Upon contact, Howard stated that he had smoked marijuana. Through investigation, it was determined that Howard was under the influence of drugs. Howard was transported and lodged in the Barren County Detention Center on the following charges:

Operating a Motor Vehicle under the Influence of Alcohol/Drugs, First offense and One Headlight.
