Earnest "E.T." Turner, 81, of Adolphus, KY died Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at the Medical Center at Scottsville.   The Fountain Run, KY native was a farmer, retired employee of Woodstock Mills, former employee of Sprowl Lumber Company, Clark Lumber Company and Bryant Lumber Company and member of Fountain Run Baptist Church.   He was a son of the late John Thompson Turner and Lissie Mae Williams Turner.

He is survived by his wife:  Judy Turner, Scottsville, KY; 2 daughters:  Betty Pedigo and husband, Wayne and Heather Leonard and husband, Edward, all of Scottsville, KY; 1 step son:  Timothy Rich, Indianapolis, IN; 1 step daughter:  Margaret Roark and husband, Kent, Lucas, KY; 2 brothers:  Joe Lewis Turner and wife, Shirley, Nashville, TN and Johnny Turner, Fountain Run, KY; 9 grandchildren:  Chris Pedigo, Chuckie Pedigo, Samantha Pedigo, Amanda Turner, Laura Leonard, Aidan Leonard, Christina Gentry, Taylor Roark and T. J. Rich; 5 great grandchildren:  Martie Pedigo, Brian Pedigo, Hunter Pedigo,Cadence Gentry and Alisa Gentry; Special friends:  Wayne Chism and Lynn, both of Scottsville, KY.

He was preceded in death by his first wife:  Irene Key Turner; 1 son:  Jeff Turner; 1 grandson:  Eric Dale Turner; 1 step daughter:  Laura Smith; 1 sister: Ossie Bell Turner; 4 brothers:  Rossie, Louie Ray, Floyd and Jim Tom Turner.

Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Calvert and Bro. Freddy Graves officiating and burial in Fountain Run Cemetery.   Visitation will be after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Goad Funeral Home.   Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses.   Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.

 

Today is Makayla Eatmon Day!  She is celebrating sweet 16th birthday.
