GPD WARNS AGAINST LEAVING VALUABLE ITEMS IN VEHICLES AFTER SATURDAY NIGHT THEFTS PDF Print
Monday, 31 March 2014 00:00

According to Julie Anne Williams, Glasgow Police Chief Guy Turcotte is urging caution against leaving anything of value in your vehicle.  On Saturday night, GPD responded to calls at both Marquee Cinemas and Gondolier Restaurant regarding vehicles with the windshields broken out and purses and other valuable items being stolen.

At least five vehicles were reported vandalized with theft at Marquee Cinemas, while two more were reported behind Gondolier Restaurant.  In several cases, the victims had covered their purses and they were not visible through the windows.

If anyone has information about any of these thefts, please call the Glasgow Police Department at 270-651-5151.  If you witness someone breaking into a vehicle, do not approach them, please call GPD or 911 immediately.
