GPD MAKE SEVERAL ARRESTS LAST WEEK PDF Print

On Thursday Officer Nick Houchens with the Glasgow Police Department arrested 31 year old Brandon Scott Westover of Glasgow.  Officer Houchens had conducted  traffic stop for careless driving and Westover failed to inform Officer Houchens he had a knife in his boot or that he was going to take it out of his boot and lay it on the trunk of the police cruiser.  Westover was charged with CARRYING A CONCEALED DEADLY WEAPON and CARELESS DRIVING.

 

Also on Thursday Officers with the Glasgow Police Department responded to Stonehenge Apartments in Glasgow to investigate an individual being held against his will.  Upon arrival, Officers made contact with 22 year old Samuel Edwards of Glasgow, who was alledgedly being held against his will, and he advised there was methamphetamine inside the residence.  Officers did find suspected methamphetamine inside the residence along with various items of drug paraphernalia.  Arrested at the scene were 22 year old Samuel Edwards and 47 year old Kenneth Neal of Russsell Springs, KY.  Both were charged with POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE and POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA.

 

On Friday, Officer Ford responded to Milton Avenue in Glasgow to serve an arrest warrant on 23 year old Dustin Vibbert.  Upon arrival, Officers found drugs and drug paraphernalia inside the residence.  Vibbert was arrested at the scene, along with 33 year old Barbra Stilts of Park City and 23 yer old James Bray of Glasgow.  All three have been charged with POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE, POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA and POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA.
