ARRESTS MADE IN LARGE SCALE COCAINE DISTRIBUTION ORGANIZATION IN THE CITY OF GLASGOW PDF Print

Another arrest has been made in a large scale cocaine distribution organization in the city of Glasgow.  A three year long joint investigation by the Barren-Edmonson-Allen Drug Task Force and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives has led to the indictment and arrest of 31 year old Donnie Ray Johnson of Glasgow and 24 year old Cornelius Crenshaw also of Glasgow.

On Tuesday night around 8:30PM (March 18th, 2014), The Drug Task Force and the ATF executed a federal indictment warrant on Johnson and he was arrested and lodged in the Warren County Detention Facility.  The federal indictment warrant filed on March 12, 2014 charges Johnson with CONSPIRING WITH ANOTHER TO DISTRIBUTE 500 GRAMS OR MORE OF COCAINE, POSSESSION WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE 500 GRAMS OR MORE OF COCAINE and MONEY LAUNDERING.

The same indictment charges Cornelius Crenshaw with CONSPIRING WITH ANOTHER TO DISTRIBUTE 500 GRAMS OR MORE OF COCAINE, four counts of POSSESSING WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE COCAINE and four counts of FIREARM CHARGES.

The indictment stems from a three year investigation by the Drug Task Force and the ATF in which they seized over 1100 grams of cocaine and over $61,000 in cash inside the city limits of Glasgow.  The investigation is continuing and additional arrests are pending.
