Thomas Edwin "Dick" Crowder, 86 of Louisville, KY died Friday, March 14, 2014 in Lebanon Junction, KY.  The Holland, KY native was a former truck driver, self-employed lawn service operator and U. S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.  He was a son of the late Riley Mitchell Crowder and Ethel Stinson Crowder.

He is survived by 5 sons:  Tim Crowder and wife, Teresa, and Danny Crowder and wife, Shelia, all of Scottsville, KY; Tommy Crowder and wife, Marie, Glendale, CA; Bennie Crowder and wife, Laura, Simpsonville, KY and Steve Crowder and wife, Suzi, Harpers Ferry, WV; 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by 2 brothers:  Buck Crowder and Carlos Crowder and 4 sisters:  Eva Hughes, Edna Crowder, Jackie Heaps and Aileen Rich.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Patrick officiating and burial in Haysville Cemetery with military honors by Glasgow DAV Chapter 20.  Visitation will be after 12 noon Monday at Goad Funeral Home.

 

Today is Gayle Berry Day!!!  Gayle is retiring July 31 from the South Central Kentucky Cultural Center.  A reception is being held today from 1-3.
