Helen Pearl Dossey, 89 of Brownsville, KY passed away Friday, January 24, 2014 in Brownsville, KY. She was a homemaker and a member of Beaver Dam Chapel United Baptist Church.

The Edmonson County native was the daughter of the late Willard Parsley and the late Clara Ann “Annie” Ray Parsley and the wife of the late Cecil Dossey.

She is survived by a daughter, Loraine Blanton and husband Lloyd, Brownsville, KY; two sons, James Dossey and wife Janice, Morgantown, KY, Carey Dossey and wife Linda, Leitchfield, KY; one brother, Junior Parsley and wife Vernitta, Brownsville, KY; one sister, Ruby McDermitt, Anderson, IN; six grandchildren, two step grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and six step great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6pm to 8pm Saturday, January 25, 2014, 11am to 8pm Sunday, January 26, 2014 and 9am to 11am Monday, January 27, 2014 at the Patton Funeral Home Brownsville Chapel.  Funeral service will be officiated by Bro. Wayne Tomes at 11am Monday, January 27, 2014 at the Patton Funeral Home Brownsville Chapel with burial in the Light Cemetery.
