A simple Craig’s List ad leaves a Warren County man with a gunshot wound.  Monday, Kentucky State Police Post 3 Troopers and Detectives responded to a residence in the Southern Sky Circle area of Warren County regarding a shooting that had occurred.

According to the preliminary investigation, Roger D. Carroll was located in the backyard of a neighbor’s residence with a gunshot to his leg.  It was discovered that Mr. Carroll was attempting to sell his motorcycle on Craigslist, when the alleged buyer an unknown African American male shot Mr. Carroll in the leg and stole the motorcycle.

Mr. Carroll was transported to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee for his injuries.

 

The investigation is still ongoing.
