HIT AND RUN HAPPENS IN WARREN COUNTY, THEN HAPPENS AGAIN PDF Print

Warren County Deputies were busy early Wednesday morning as they responded to a report of a report of a non-injury, hit and run collision that happened between a 2003 Dodge and a 1998 Saturn that happened twice.  The first collision happened at the intersection of Veteran’s Memorial Road and Barren River Road.  The second collision occurred on barren River Road.  The Dodge was driven by 32 year old Shana Dicken of Glasgow was hit, both times, by the driver of the Saturn 30 year old Shawn Rogers of Bowling Green.  Deputies located the Saturn on Bill Dedmon Road and it was determined that Rogers was under the influence of alcohol and narcotics.

 

Rogers was arrested and has been charged with LEAVING THE SCENE OF AN ACCIDENT, FAILURE TO PRODUCE INSURANCE CARD, OPERATING A MOTOR VEHICLE UNER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL/DRUGS and WANTON ENDANGERMENT.  He was lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail.
