FARMER'S RECC WANTS TO REMIND MEMBERS JANUARY AND FEBRUARY BILLS MAY BE HIGHER PDF Print
Saturday, 18 January 2014 00:00

Our area experienced colder-than-normal temperatures, and even colder wind chill factors, in December and early January. Farmers Rural Electric would like to remind its members that January and February electric heating bills could be higher, since those bills will reflect December and January usage.

Farmers RECC has a number of tools to help members manage their electricity bills. They offer free home energy evaluations to members to help identify home improvements that help seal the envelope of the home, keeping heated air inside. There are also several rebates offered to members who add additional home insulation or have their ductwork sealed to improvement heating system performance.  They also offer levelized budget billing to help keep electricity bills more equal.

To learn more about any of these programs, or if you have questions about your electricity bill, please call Farmers RECC at 270-651-2191 to speak to a Member Service Representative.
