GLASGOW WOMAN KILLED IN ACCIDENT ON NEW BOWLING GREEN ROAD WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON PDF Print

23 year old Amy Eubank, of Glasgow, was killed in a two vehicle accident, around 5:30  yesterday afternoon.  The accident occurred on New Bowling Green Road, at the intersection of Furlong Road.  Ms. Eubank was traveling East bound, while 30 year old Leonard Ballard of Glasgow, along with five children in his vehicle, was traveling Westbound.  The two vehicles collided.  Ms. Eubank was pronounced dead at the scene by Barren County Coroner Mike Swift.  All occupants in Mr. Ballard’s vehicle were transported to the TJ Samson Hospital and later released.

Eubank was not wearing her seatbelt, and was eight months pregnant.  All occupants in Ballard's vehicle were restrained.  Drugs or alcohol are not believed to be a factor in the accident.  The cause is still under investigation by Deputy Kevin Wilson with the Barren County Sheriff’s Office.
