GLASGOW FIRE DEPARTMENT RESPOND TO BRYAN STREET EARLY THURSDAY MORNING PDF Print

Early Thursday morning, the Glasgow Fire Department responded to Bryan Street to a report of smoke in the house. Glasgow Fire Chief Tony Atwood said Firefighters found smoke coming from under the threshold at the rear of the house. Firefighters removed the threshold and used a water extinguisher and booster line to extinguish some embers. Firefighters also checked for fire extension and found none. The was only a small amount of damage and no injuries were reported.  Firefighters were on the scene around 1 hour. The cause of the fire is listed as undetermined.

 

 

 

Today is Gayle Berry Day!!!  Gayle is retiring July 31 from the South Central Kentucky Cultural Center.  A reception is being held today from 1-3.
