According to Julie Anne Williams, Public Affairs Officer with the Glasgow Police Department:

 

On Friday afternoon, Officers conducted a traffic stop for disregarding a stop sign on 48 year old Paul H. Gass Jr. of Newman Street in Glasgow.  Officers had received trafficking complaints on the above subjects mother, and had the residence under surveillance.  Gass gave Officers consent to search his vehicle where several illegal items were found.  Gass was arrested and has been charged with POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 2ND DEGREE, PRESCRIPTION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE NOT IN PROPER CONTAINER, CARRYING A CONCEALED DEADLY WEAPON and ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF A LEGEND DRUG.  Gass was lodged in the Barren County Detention Center.
