BARREN COUNTY GRAND JURY INDICTMENTS (DECEMBER 2013) PDF Print

A recent session of the Barren County Grand Jury resulted in the following indictments:

 

21 year old Jesse D. Shipley of South Morgan Street in Glasgow was indicted on five separate counts:  ASSAULT 3RD DEGREE, TERRORISTIC THREATENING 3RD DEGREE, DISORDERLY CONDUCT 2ND DEGREE, CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 3RD DEGREE and ALCOHOL INTOXICATION IN A PUBLIC PLACE.  All charges stem from events that occurred in late October of this year.

 

43 year old Tracy Pennington Reece of Dry Fork Road in Glasgow, was indicted on seven separate counts:  POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 2ND DEGREE, THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING UNDER $500, three counts of POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 3RD DEGREE and CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE PRESCRIPTION NOT IN ORIGINAL CONTAINER.  All charges stem from an incident that occurred in mid November of this year.

 

24 year old Christian G. Sanders of JoAnn Street in Glasgow has been indicted on two separate counts of FAILURE TO REPORT CHANGE IN ORDER TO RECEIVE BENEFITS.

 

39 year old Brian D. Simmons has been indicted on one count of FLAGRANT NONSUPPORT.  Based on the indictment, Simmons has failed to provide support to his two minor children since December of 2012.

 

53 year old Woodrow J. Short of Austin Tracy Road in Glasgow was indicted on three counts:  OPERATING A MOTOR VEHICLE WHILE LICENSE REVOKED OR SUSPENDED FOR DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE 2ND OFFENSE, OPERATING A MOTOR VEHICLE WHILE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL and RECKLESS DRIVING.

 

An indictment is an accusation only, and all subjects are considered to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
