KSP INVESTIGATING BODY FOUND IN HART COUNTY PDF Print

On Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 3:21 P.M. 3:21 P.M., Kentucky State Police Post 3 responded to an abandoned residence on Old Dixie Hwy in Hart County, Kentucky regarding a dead body that was discovered in the residence.

Kentucky State Police was contacted by an individual who noticed a stray dog going in and out of the residence.  While checking on the dog the caller noticed a body in the residence and immediately called the police.

An autopsy is scheduled in Louisville, KY on Sunday, December 22, 2013.  The investigation is still ongoing and is being led by Detective Erik Salman.  Detective Salman was assisted on scene by the Hart County Coroner Jeff Roten and the Horse Cave Fire Department.
