The Broadway office of the Glasgow Fire Department has gotten a facelift and an expansion.  What was considered to be a useless building has now been turned in to office space that not only looks great, but is functional as well.  Demolition began and as walls began to be knocked out, the fire department didn’t miss this training opportunity, as Glasgow Fire Captain Kevin Jandt explains:

Jandt said that all the firefighters pitched in and helped with this remodling project, as well as the deck outside.  The deck was the original Bolton’s Landing deck, which was loaded, moved, disassembled and used to build the new deck that you see today.

WCLU asked Chief Atwood for his thoughts on the new offices:

All of this work was done while still answering calls that came to the station, shared Glasgow Assistant Fire Chief Brian Marr, whose refurbished door is one of the highlights of the project.

Congratulations to the Glasgow Fire Department and we know you are certainly proud of this great accomplishment.
