UPDATE**WARREN COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPUTIES RESPOND TO COLLISION INVOLVING CSX TRAIN AND DUMP TRUCK PDF Print

On Thursday, just after noon, Warren County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the intersection of Dillard Road and CSX train crossing for an injury collision.  Through investigation, it was determined that a dump truck, driven by 41 year old Kelly P. Asher of Cub Run, was struck by a CSX train while crossing the train tracks.  The driver was treated at the scene and then life-flighted to Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville.  He is currently listed in critical condition.  Drugs and alcohol are not believed to be a factor in this collision.  The identification of the driver is being withheld pending notification of family members.  Warren County Sheriff’s was assisted on the scene by the Medical Center EMS, Woodburn Volunteer Fire Department, Emergency Management and CSX Railroad Personnel.
