Charles Lethel Bridges 90 of Glasgow died Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at Glasgow State Nursing Facility.  He was born in Barren County the son of the late W. C. and Rose Woods Bridges.   Mr. Bridges was a former employee of the KY State Highway Dept., Tyson Bearing Co. and most recently Richardson Hardware Co. in Glasgow.  He was a WW II Veteran, serving in the U.S. Army Air Corp, a life member of the Disabled American Veterans, and was a member of the Cave City Church of God.

He is survived by a daughter Dia Nell Burton (Bob) of Lexington; 2 grandchildren Michael Richey (Crystal) of Glasgow and Toni Richey Walden of Glasgow; 4 great grandchildren Justin Richey (fiancé Mallory Thomas), Aaron Richey, Tommy Richey and Jakeb Walden; 4 step-grandchildren Jennifer (Andy) Moss, Amy Burton, Forrest Burton (Chip Meyer) and Chris Burton (Heather); 7 step-great grandchildren; 4 brothers Curtis Bridges (Arlene) of Indianapolis, Ed Bridges (Anna Rose) of Louisville, Frankie Bridges (Sharon) of Smiths Grove and Harold Dean Bridges (Peggy) of Park City and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Barrick Bridges, 2 brothers Homer and Elvin Bridges and a sister Louise Neagle.

Funeral services will be 2pm Sunday, Dec. 22nd at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Merry Oaks Cemetery.  Military honors will be provided by D.A.V. Chapter 20 of Glasgow.  Visitation will begin at 4pm Saturday.
