'LIGHT UP NORRIS COURT' BEGINS ON MONDAY PDF Print

This Monday and Tuesday evening, you’ll notice a beautiful glow coming from Norris Court in Glasgow.  The residents of Norris Court, each year, line the streets of their neighborhood with luminaries.  In 1989 a resident came up with this idea as a fun way to celebrate the Holiday season.  It is also a way to symbolize the lighting of the way for the ‘Christ Child’ and dates back to ancient times.  Here is Harold Matthews, a resident of Norris Court to tell us more:

The public is invited to turn off their headlights and drive through Norris Court on Monday and Tuesday evening, weather permitting, to enjoy the luminaries.
