BARREN COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT RESPOND TO ACCIDENT ON PETER CREEK ROAD PDF Print

The Barren County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single vehicle accident Thursday night at approximately 7:00pm on Peter Creek Road. 55 year old Janet Corry, of Austin, was traveling south when a deer ran out in front of her 2002 Subaru Outback. Corry swerved to miss the deer and dropped off the left shoulder of the roadway. Corry then overcorrected going off the right side of the roadway, striking a fence and a tree, before coming to a stop. Corry was transported to TJ Samson hospital by Barren Metcalfe EMS for treatment of minor injuries sustained in the accident.
