Inez Dyer Emmert, 88, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Sunday, December 1st, at Monroe County Health and Rehab Center, in Tompkinsville. Inez was born in Monroe County, KY on March 2, 1925, a daughter of the late Dora (Anderson) and Bob  Dyer. On March 21, 1943 in Georgia, she married Kenneth  Emmert, who precedes her in death. She was a member of Berea Church of Christ. She worked as a seamestress at Handmacher Mfg. in Glasgow for 37 years.

Inez is  survived by a son, Kenny Emmert and wife, Carolyn, two grandchildren; Kelly Emmert and Kacey Williams, and a great grandchild, Kenslee Williams, all of Tompkinsville. Inez is also survived by six sisters, Gladys Cook, of New Albany, IN; Clara Combs, of Tompkinsville, KY; Katherine Jackson, of Dexter, Missouri; Virginia Sprowl, of Tompkinsville, KY; Margaret Sprowl, of Bowling Green, KY; and Betty Lane, of Tompkinsville, KY.

She is also preceded in death by a sister; Addie Crabtree, and a brother; Mack Dyer.

Funeral Services will be held at Yokley Trible Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, December 4th,  with John Osgatharp officiating. Visitation is Tuesday after 4:00 P.M. and Wednesday 6:00 -11:00 A.M. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home. Burial is in Oak Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Berea Church of Christ.
