In city government news, the Glasgow City Council had their regular meeting last night.  Several budget adjustments were made including $1.2 Million from the unappropriated landfill fund to the landfill methane project fund.  $1 Million of that was a loan while the other $200,000 derived from tax revenue, explains Mayor Rhonda Trautman.

The methane project will provide a means for renewable energy through the methane gas obtained in the landfill.

Also, in other announcements, Trautman told the council the city had received a donation from one of it’s citizens, and another donation from a local business.
