TWO GLASGOW RESIDENTS FACE HEROIN CHARGES PDF Print

On Wednesday Glasgow Police Department Officers responded to Taco Bell in Glasgow to investigate the report of a silver BMW in the drive-thru whose driver was possibly passed out and the passenger was outside of the car ordering.  Upon arrival, officers located the vehicle and observed the driver, 20year old Aaron M. Smith of Poplar Springs Road in Glasgow, reach around and conceal something behind the passenger seat.  Both Smith and the passenger, 20 year old Elizabeth Ann Walden of Poplar Springs Road were taken into custody.

 

A search of the vehicle and the individuals yielded marijuana, oxycodone, Xanax and suspected heroin.  Both Smith and Walden have been charged with POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA, DRUG PARAPHERNALIA BUY/POSSESS, two separate counts of POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE and POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 3RD DEGREE.  Additionally Smith faces charges of OPERATING A VEHICLE UNDER THE INFLUCENCE OF DRUGS and Walden has been charged with PUBLIC INTOXICATION.  Both were lodged in the Barren County Jail.
