According to Julie Anne Williams, Public Affairs Officer with the Glasgow Police Department:

Just before 1:00pm Saturday, GPD Officers investigated a wreck on South L. Rogers Wells Blvd. 34 year old Asha Karippot of Glasgow, was driving her 2012 Lexus southbound and was slowing down to prepare to stop at the intersection of L.Rogers Wells Blvd and the entrance to Lowe’s. Karippot’s Lexus was struck in the rear by 26 year old Justin Rose of Glasgow, who was also traveling southbound in his 1997 Nissan. Rose was taken to TJ Samson Hospital for treatment of possible leg and neck injuries.

GPD Officers were advised by the U.S. Marshall’s Service that 32 year old Amber McDonald of Eastview Drive in Glasgow, was listed as a wanted person. Early Sunday afternoon, GPD Officers located McDonald at her residence and she was taken into custody and lodged in the Barren County Correctional Center.

On Sunday afternoon GPD Officers responded to a complaint of a possible breaking and entering on GL Coomer Drive. Upon arrival Officers made contact with 38 year old Brock O. Rogers of East College Street in Glasgow who was at the location. During investigation, Officers learned that Rogers was meeting the female resident who had not yet arrived. Rogers story was confirmed by the female resident via text message. Rogers gave consent for Officers to search his person and vehicle. During the search, Officers found a handgun and a bag of suspected marijuana. Rogers was arrested and charged with POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA (FIREARM ENHANCED) AND DRUG PARAPHERNALIA BUY/POSSESS.
