Homer Hade White 86 of Edmonton died Thursday at his home.  He was a farmer and a carpenter and was a member of the House of Prayer Church. He was the son of the late William Sherman and Ella Jennings White.

He is survived by one daughter, Paul Jean Martin and husband, Tudor of Edmonton; two sons, William Hade White and wife Faye and James Carson White all of Summer Shade; two sisters, Ruby Nichols of Elizabethtown and Edith Acton of Columbus, Indiana; grandchildren, Terry White and John Martin; great-grandchildren Shelby White, Kassidy and Tyler White, Kendra Conrad, Mason and Graci Martin.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline White; grandson, Chad White; brothers, Porter and Terry White; sisters, Alma Bragg, Noruth Spraggs and Dori Baldwin.

Funeral services for Homer Hade White will be held at 1pm Sunday,November 3, 2013 at the House of Prayer Church with burial in the church cemetery.  Visitation Saturday after 1pm at the McMurtrey Funeral Home and after 10am Sunday at the church.
