Monday , Kentucky State Police Post 3 Bowling Green

received a call for assistance from the Allen County Department of Community Based

Services for a report of child abuse.  Two children were seen at a medical facility

for injuries suspected from non accidental head trauma and other injuries.

The Kentucky State Police Detective Laura Isenberg investigated the incident and

arrested two individuals for the injuries the children sustained.

Cody Piper(18) of Scottsville, KY was arrested on two charges of Criminal Abuse 1st

Degree, child less than 12 and Whitney Whitaker (24)  was also arrested for Criminal

Abuse 1st Degree, child less than 12.  Both are lodged in the Allen County Regional

Jail. The investigation is still ongoing is being led by Detective Laura Isenberg
