Jesse James Humes, 67, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Wednesday, October 23rd, at Monroe County Medical Center. Jesse was born in Tompkinsville, Ky on April 3, 1946, a son of the late Zelma  Ruth (Ford) and William Mitchell Humes.

On November 30, 1965, he married Marie (Adams) Humes, who survives him. He was of the Baptist faith and worked as a farmer.

Jesse is survived by two sisters, Katherine Nason, of Tompkinsville, KY; Connie Sue McCalb of Red Boiling Springs, three brothers, Darrell Ray Humes, of Ft. Run, KY; Jimmy Ralph Humes, of Tompkinsville, KY; Reggie Ray Humes, of Tompkinsville, KY;

He is preceded in death by two brothers; Charles William Humes and Roger Dale Humes, and two sisters; Jessie Pearl Chapman and Mary Dean Humes.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 26 at Yokley Trible Funeral Home at 1:00 P.M. with Bro. Gary Emberton officating.  Visitation is Friday after 11:00 a.m. Burial is in Ebenezer Cemetery.
