WARREN COUNTY MAN HELD GIRLFRIEND AT KNIFE-POINT PDF Print

On Monday Warren County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to Hwy 185, after receiving a 911 call from Brittany Furlong stating she was being held against her will, at knife-point, in her vehicle.  Furlong told Deputies her boyfriend, Joshua Russell, had punched her in the face, held a knife to her throat, arm and stomach and threatened to cut her if she stopped driving.  Upon location of the vehicle, Deputies conducted a traffic stop and Russell was immediately taken into custody without incident.  A knife was found in Russell’s pocket and victim had visible marks on her body.  The couple’s two children, a 22 month old and a 4 month old were in the vehicle during this incident.  Russell was charged with Assault 4th Degree, Unlawful Imprisonment 1st Degree and Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree and taken to the Warren County Regional Jail.
