Mrs. Lowell Wray, 87 of, Burkesville passed away of Friday, October 11, 2013, at the Cumberland County Hospital. She is preceded in death by her parents Willie Thrasher and Ellie Flowers Thrasher and by her husband Grant Wray. She was a member of the Rose of Sharon United Methodist Church and a homemaker.

She is survived by four brothers, Cloyd Thrasher, Lewis Thrasher and his wife Dianna, Jesse Thrasher and his wife Becky, and Matthew Thrasher and his wife Anna May, all of Louisville, six sisters, Lucille Akin of Glasgow, Geneva Thacker and Nelda Garner both of Burkesville, Olene Richardson, Marie Perkins and her husband James, and Anna Wolff and her husband Garry all of Louisville, special niece and nephew Barbara and Bobby Wray of Burkesville, and several other beloved nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lowell Wray will be 2pm Tuesday October 15, 2013, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home in Burkesville with burial in Rose of Sharon Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 5:30 to 9pm today at Ballou and Stotts Funeral Home.
