Kenneth W. Haines, Sr. 95 of Park City died Sunday, October 6, 2013 in Louisville.  He was a graduate of Ohio State University where he was inducted into the Animal Science Hall of Fame; a farmer and  member of the Park City Methodist church and the Kentucky Angus Association.  The VanWert County, Ohio native was born on February 2, 1918 to the late Walter Cleveland Haines and the late Mary Margaret Roberts. He was the husband of the late Mildred Ziegler Haines.

He is survived by two daughters, Jeannine Livesay and husband John and Carol Schumann and husband Gregg all of Louisville; four sons, Kenneth Haines, Jr and his wife Sharon of Park City, Bruce Haines of Covington, Louisiana, Douglas Haines and wife Donna of Douglas, Georgia and Dudley Haines of Louisville; two sisters Dorothy Medley of Troy, Ohio, Doris Burt of Pensacola, Florida and six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by one brother, Donald Haines; one sister, Francis Dunlap and daughter in law Ella Haines.

Funeral services for Kenneth W. Haines will be held at 2pm Thursday, October 10, 2013 at the Patton Funeral Home, Park City Chapel with burial in the Evergreen Cemetery.  Visitation from 6 to 8pm Wednesday and 11am to 2pm Thursday at the funeral home.
