The Bowling Green Police Department has arrested a subject who robbed a bank.  On Wednesday, just after 3:00 PM the Bowling Green Police Department received an alarm from First Security Bank, on Scottsville Road.  An officer arrived on scene and through protocol it was determined the alarm was the result of robbery.  Employees told police an older woman entered the bank, insinuated she had a weapon and demanded money.  After leaving the bank, the suspect walked south away from the bank.  Police determined she was in the restroom of Campbell Chevrolet, a car dealership on Scottsville Road.

Police evacuated the dealership and utilized the on-duty K9 officer causing the suspect to surrender.  No one was injured in the incident.

The Bowling Green Police Department arrested Sadie S. Capps, 73, of Bowling Green.  Ms. Capps is lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail and has been charged with Robbery 1st.
