On Tuesday the Warren County Sheriff’s Department responded to a single vehicle injury collision in the 1300 block of Anna Sandhill Road.  The investigation yielded that a silver Lincoln car had left the roadway, the driver had overcorrected and struck a tree.  The driver was identified as 62 yar old Brenda Montgomery of Warren County.  Montgomery was transported by EMS to the Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.  Neither alcohol or speed were a factor in the collision.


Also on Tuesday, deputies responded to a call of an injury collision in the 2000 block of Porter Pike.  Through investigation, it was determined that Nicholas Harp was driving a 1995 Toyota passenger car and hydroplaned.  Harp attempted to regain control of the vehicle and was unable to do so, causing the vehicle to run off the road and striking a guard rail head-on.  Harp left the scene by ambulance and Harp was wearing his seatbelt.  The collision is still under investigation and neither drugs nor alcohol are believed to be factors in this collision.


According to KY State Trooper Walters, 59 year old Gerald McCullough of Cross Plains, TN, was traveling North on the Natcher Parkway in his 2005 Ford Van when he lost control of his vehicle on the wet pavement and lost exited the roadway on the left hand shoulder crossing the median into the path of a 2012 Honda Accord operated by 44 year old Jeannette Brown of Owensboro, KY.

Mr. McCullough was not wearing his seatbelt and was ejected through the driver’s side window.  Mr. McCullough was transported to the Medical Center in Bowling Green for non-life threatening injuries.  Mrs. Brown was not injured in the collision.

The investigation is still ongoing is being led by Trooper First Class Tomie Walters.


On Tuesday, Kentucky State Police Trooper Larry Davis responded to the Butler/Warren County Line on the William Natcher Parkway regarding a single vehicle collision.

According to Trooper Davis, Hope Record, age 27 of Morgantown, KY was traveling south on the Natcher Parkway in her 1997 Chevy Blazer when she lost control of her vehicle on the wet pavement and exited the right hand shoulder of the roadway causing her vehicle to overturn.

Ms. Hope was taken to the Medical Center in Bowling Green for non-life threatening injuries.  The investigation is still ongoing and is being led by Trooper Larry Davis.
