Paul E. Day, 78 of Lexington passed away Wednesday, Sept. 25 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.  He was born in Cub Run to the late Henry Granville Day and Mary Tom Sullivan Day.

Mr. Day was a graduate of the Cub Run High School and Purdue University.

He was a retired Electronic Engineer, a faithful member of Tates Creek Christian Church where he also was ambassador of men’s fellowship.

He is survived by his wife Grace Wilson Day

2 daughters-Kimberly Day Kidd & Pamela Day Greene both of Lexington

1 brother-Laymon Day of Munfordville

3 grandchildren-Paul O’Neil Kidd, Emily Kidd & Portia Day Greene

5 great-grandchildren

He was preceded in death by a son Weston Paul Day, 2 brothers Raymond Day, James Day and 2 sisters Alma Lawler & Myrtie Reynolds

Funeral services for Paul E. Day will be 2pm CST Saturday in the chapel of Sego Funeral Home with burial in the Cub Run Cemetery.  Visitation will be Friday from 1-7pm CST and after 11am Saturday at the Sego Funeral Home. The family request that memorial donations be made to the Cub Run Cemetery Fund.  These donations may be left at the funeral home.
