Tuesday, 17 September 2013 06:29

Farmers RECC is paying tribute to WWII veterans this Saturday.  Mr. William Lawson, a veteran from Glasgow who served in the army during WWII will represent Farmers RECC.  Lawson, along with other veterans, will be chartered around Washington DC and will visit the WWII Memorial, the Iwo Jima Monument and the Korean War Veterans Memorial.  As Will Rogers once said, “We can’t all be heroes.  Some of us have to stand on the curb and clap as they go by,” said Caralyne Wright, Member and Public Communications Director at Farmers RECC.  “That’s what we’re doing to honor our veterans.”
