AREA HIGH SCHOOLS COMPETE IN WEEKEND TRACK MEET PDF Print

Area schools competed at the Raider Twilight Clasic at Ephram White Park

in Bowling Green over the weekend. In the girls varsity, Glasgow's Marisa Moore

finished second behind South Warren Freshman Caroline Haas. Edmonson County's

Jessica Smith was third. Barren County's Taylor Davis and Shayna Billingsley was

able to crack the top twenty  in the meet finishing fifteenth and nineteenth. Other

Notable performances from area schools include Allen County's Taylor stamps placing

seventeenth. In team scores, Edmonson was able to place second behind South Warren.

Allen County-Scottsville was eighth. Neither Barren nor Glasgow had enough runners

to score in the girls meet.

In the Boy's varsity race, Barren County's Billy Mowery was the top

performer for the Trojans finishing Thirty-seventh out of a field of 164 runners.

Daviess County's Daniel Southard. Allen County Scottsville's Frankie Estes

finish 28 for the Patriots. Other top finishers include Butler County's Ethan

Jenkins placing tenth, Edmonson County's Chance Stockdale twenty first, and

Glasgow's Carter Chavira finishing seventy fourth. In team scores, Barren County

placed eleventh behind Westmoreland high school. The Panthers of Daviess County won

the meet with South Warren second. Allen County Scottsville was fifteenth and

Cumberland County was sixteenth.
