Geneva Ann Laird Gore, 70, Cave City, passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2013, at T J Samson Community Hospital, Glasgow.  The Cave City native was born April 22, 1943 to the late Charlie and Gladys Hatcher Laird and was the widow of Donald Wayne Gore.  She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and was a retired ticket salesperson for the Miss Green River Boat Ride.

Survivors include a son, Gregory Gore and his wife Shelley, Cave City; a daughter, Donessa Ann Miller, Cave City; a brother, Leonard Laird, Bon Air; two grandchildren, Joey Cowles and Brianna Cowles.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Herman Laird, Garvie Laird and Franklin Laird.

Funeral services with Russell Hatcher officiating will be at 1 PM Saturday, August 31st at the Bob Hunt Funeral Chapel, Cave City, with burial in the Cave City Cemetery.  Visitation at the funeral home will be after 5 PM Thursday.
