Delaney "John" T. Stinson, 85, of Horse Cave, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2013 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. He was a Hart County native, a retired heavy equipment operator, a U.S. Army veteran of WW II and a 50 plus member of Rio Verde Masonic Lodge #698.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Terry B. Stinson and Florence E. Dishman Stinson; 2 brothers, Kenneth Stinson (infant) and Dale Stinson.

Survivors Include Wife: Dorothy Payton Stinson, Horse Cave; Daughter: Melanie Stinson, Horse Cave; Son: William Terry Stinson, Bowling Green; Granddaughter: Payton Ann Bryant, Horse Cave; Great-grandson: Jayden Sturgeon, Horse Cave; Niece: Del Rita Hay, Horse Cave; Great-nephew: Chris Hay, Horse Cave

Funeral Services will be Monday, August 26, 2013 at 2PM in Winn Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11AM Monday, August 26, 2013 at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Kosair Charities or charity of choice.
