The City of Glasgow took steps towards upgrading infrastructure as it pertains to the Glasgow Water Company.

That’s Superintendent, Scott Young, as he explained to the Glasgow City Council why they are asking for the council’s approval to fund the projects with $6.5 million in municipal bonds.  They have already been approved for an additional $2.5 million, approximately, through federal grants.

The Glasgow City Council passed the first reading of an ordinance that would allow for the bonds to be issued.  A special-called meeting is scheduled for Wednesday Morning at 8:00am to vote on the second reading.
