LANDON HOUCHENS IS NATIONAL ATV CHAMPION! PDF Print

Barren County’s Landon Houchens won the ATV national racing event held this past weekend before a crowd of  3000 to 4000 people at Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.  Ryan is 9 years old and is a student at Red Cross Elementary.  The championship is done on a point system of 12 different events throughout the season, and Hurricane Mills was the final leg of the series.   WCLU News asked Landon for some thoughts on this national championship recognition.

Landon’s younger brother Kaiden, age 5 came in 6th place in his age category.  Their father, Ryan Houchens says it has been quite the experience.

Later this year Landon will travel to West Virginia for a recognition ceremony.
