Sentencing of Former Barren County Sheriff Deputy Adam Minor began this morning at 9AM. Former Deputy Adam Minor has been sentenced to 2 years of supervised probation, a $500 fine and a $100 court cost. If Minor abides by all standard rules of probation his probation could be shortened.

Minor was indicted in February 2012 for allegedly being involved in the beating of Billy Stinnett while he was handcuffed after a high speed chase in 2010. Former Deputy Adam Minor faced the following charges; deprivation of rights under color of law and providing a false statement to federal investigators. Minor plead guilty on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 to making a false statement to federal investigators.
