PARK CITY RESIDENTS ARRESTED ON METH-RELATED CHARGES PDF Print

On Monday at approximately 6:41 pm, the Barren County Sheriff’s Department along with the Barren-Edmonson –Allen Drug Task Force responded to 24617 Louisville Road in Park City in reference to a drug complaint. Deputies made contact with Mr. Brad Barnhart and Ms. Crystal Vaughn. Mr. Barnhart lived at the residence. After speaking with the subjects, the DTF obtained a search warrant for the residence. The DTF asked Mr. Barnhart if there was anything in the residence that could harm Officers and he stated that there was not. The DTF and the Barren County Co. Sheriff Deputies searched the residence and discovered a methamphetamine lab, an HCL generator, chemicals and equipment used to manufacture meth, used and exposed hypodermic syringes, spoons and other paraphernalia items along with suspected methamphetamine. Deputy David Houchens was slightly injured at the residence and went to TJ Samson and was treated and released. The DTF charged Mr. Barnhart with manufacturing methamphetamine 1st offense of a police officer – 3 counts, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Ms. Vaughn was arrested and charged for outstanding warrants. Both subjects were transported to TJ Samson and then transported to the Barren County Jail and were lodged. Barren County Sheriff Deputies Adam Bow, David Houchens, Dean Crumbaugh and Chris Wyatt assisted at the scene.
