Thelma Jones, 92, of Indianapolis, formally of Monroe County passed away on July 10, 2013.  She was born on Nov. 7, 1920 in Monroe Co. KY to William and Orpha Hoffman.  Thelma was a resident of the Altenheim Exceptional Senior Living Community She enjoyed quilting, cooking, gardening, and BINGO, and was a member of Elbow Bend Church of Christ in Tompkinsville, KY.

Thelma is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Willis and Nellie Jones; two grandchildren, Brooke (Rodney) Powell and Pamela Roe; two great grandchildren, Brandon Roe and Savannah Roe.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm Jones; brothers, Roy Hoffman, Ray Hoffman, Reggie Hoffman, Stanley Hoffman; and sister, Morene Biggerstaff.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2013 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Yokley-Trible Funeral Home, 510 Fourth Street, Tompkinsville, KY. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm at the funeral home.

Thelma will be laid to rest in Monroe County Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Tompkinsville,KY.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Altenheim Ladies Auxiliary, 3525 E.Hanna Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46237 or Elbow Bend Church of Christ, 2070 Elbow Bend Rd, Tompkinsville, KY 42167.
