Rondall Keith Dyer, 77, of Tompkinsville, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2013 at Monroe County Medical Center in Tompkinsville.

He was born March 5, 1936 in Monroe County, KY to the late Robert Dyer and Opal Bybee Dyer. He was a retired farmer, former Monroe County Magistrate and Elder of Mt. Gilead Church of Christ. He was united in marriage on October 18, 1957 to Phyllis Summers in Celina, TN.

He is survived by his wife: Phyllis Summers Dyer of Tompkinsville, one son and daughter-in-law: Brian and Martha Hack Dyer of Lawrenceburg, KY, one daughter: Debbie Dyer Adams of Horse Cave, one brother: Gary Dyer of Summer Shade, KY, three sisters:  Betty Blanton of Jeffersonville, IN, Brenda Starnes of Tompkinsville, Cathy York McGowan of Russell Springs, KY, 7 grandchildren  6 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister: Rochelle Rich and a son-in-law: Kenneth Adams.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, July 10 at 2:00 PM at Mt. Gilead Church of Christ with burial to follow in  Monroe County Memorial Lawn.

Visitation will be after 5:00 PM on Tuesday and after 7:30 AM on Wednesday at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, the body will lie in state after 12:00 PM on Wednesday at Mt. Gilead Church of Christ.

Memorials are suggested to the Arthritis Foundation.
