July 1, 1993 – Hollywood Artists Record Company has released an album titled “Music of America”. It contains various types of music and features a song written by Glasgow native, Sara Jordon. The son is titled “Wasted Precious Years”.

July 2, 1993 – AD – Richardson Hardware, 111 E. Washington Street – Peerless White Commode $43.00; 40 gallon Electric Water heater $135.00 and Delex Sink Mount $36.00.

July 4, 1993 – Athletes of GHS from the WW II era gathered for a 50 year reunion Friday at Bolton’s Landing.

July 5, 1993 – The new Glasgow Rotary Club President is Beverley White.

July 8, 1993 – The American Cave and Karst Center, Horse Cave is having a Grand opening celebration on July 10th.

July 12, 1993 – The White Sox won the Lou Gehrig league tournament Championship coached by Alan Flenor and David Mercer. Players were Kyle Johnson, Joe Taylor Mercer, Aaron and Luke Flenor, Adam Southall, Daniel Spencer, John Biggers, Andy Blythe, David Thomason, John Houchens, Nic Houchens, and Joseph Eubank.

July 18, 1993 – Gabriel Esters, BCHS graduate and standout runner signed a letter of intent to run cross country and track for Lindsey Wilson College.

July 25, 1993 – Steve Jolly has announced his candidacy for office of Cave City Mayor.

July 27, 1993 – The City of Glasgow will soon begin a pilot project for curb side recycling. $5000 was appropriated to begin the project.

July 28, 1993 – Rev. Wert Renfro celebrated his 65th birthday July 13 with a surprise birthday card shower. He received 250 cards.

July 30, 1993 – Jacqueline Dawn Luttrell of Brownsville was crowned Miss Barren County Fair. Junior Miss winner was Kelli Ann Howard of Campbellsville.
