Mrs. Golda Bell Davidson Long, age 91, a resident of Cumberland Valley Manor, in Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at the Cumberland Valley Manor. She was born in Cumberland County, Kentucky on Sunday, March 5, 1922 the daughter of B.M. and Lala Riddle Davidson. She was a member of The Hickory Grove Church of Christ, a Homemaker and Farmer.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her Husband, John N. Long, Brothers, Charlie Davidson, Barry Davidson and James “Jim” Davidson, Her sister, Sylvia Long.

She is survived by her Nephew, James (and Willie Mae) Long of Burkesville, Kentucky, nieces, Helen Steele of Indianapolis, Indiana, Hazel Jones and Betty Hogan both of Burkesville, Kentucky. Several Great Nieces and Nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in The Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home with burial in the Perkins Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 5:00 p.m. Monday, June 24, 2013 until the funeral hour on Tuesday. Professional services provided by Norris-New Funeral Home of Burkesville, Kentucky.
