Donald J. “Don” Dorociak, 74 of Horse Cave passed away Sunday, June 9, 2013 in Park City. The Chicago, Illinois native was the owner of Parkland Motel in Park City, Village Inn in Horse Cave and Horse Cave Investments. He was a Vietnam and Korean Army Veteran, fire chief, EMT and Rescue Driver in Knollwood, Illinois and a member of the American Legion and St. Mels Parish in Chicago.

He is survived by one daughter: Victoria Ann Dorociak of Chicago; one brother: Michael Dorociak of Chicago; two cousins: Michelle Marceau-DiFate of Connecticut and Paul Marceau of California and one god son: Elijah Jorgenson of Cave City.

Funeral services for Donald J. “Don” Dorociak are private and under the direction of Patton Funeral Home Park City Chapel.
