Reva Emmert Cain, 86, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Tuesday, May 28th, at Monroe County Medical Center. She was born in Monroe County, KY on October 31, 1926, a daugther of the late Herbert and Hassie (England) Emmert. On June 4, 1943 in Tompkinsville, KY she married Gradie Cecil Cain, who precedes her in death. She was a member of Germany Church of Christ. She worked as a Homemaker.

Reva is survived by three daughters, Susan  Lane; Brenda Spear; and Glenda Netherton, all of Tompkinsville, three sisters, Doris McPherson of Tompkinsville; Lera Teasley of Clarksville, TN; and Lois Hodge of Tompkinsville. 4 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Gradie Cecil Cain; her parents, Herbert and Hassie (England) Emmert, and a son; Gradie Eugen Cain.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, May 30 at 11:00 A.M. at Mt. Poland Cemetery with Jimmy Cook officiating. Visitation is after 5:00 P.M. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 29. Burial is in the Mt. Poland Cemetery.

 

 

Today is Gayle Berry Day!!!  Gayle is retiring July 31 from the South Central Kentucky Cultural Center.  A reception is being held today from 1-3.
