TWO INJURED IN MONDAY AFTERNOON WRECK ON 31-E SOUTH OF GLASGOW PDF Print

Monday afternoon  at 5:58 P.M., Kentucky State Police Post 03 was notified of an injury collision on US 31-E, five miles south of Glasgow. William Mayes of Glasgow was traveling south on US 31-E when he crossed the centerline and entered the North lane of travel. William Roberts of Somerset, KY was operating a 2013 Peterbuilt Semi Truck and traveling north on US 31-E. Mayes 2001 Ford Truck then collided with the Tractor Trailer and both vehicle left  the east side of the roadway. Both operators were transported to TJ Samson where they were treated and released. The investigation is led by Trooper Raymond Chambers. Barren County Sheriff's Department, Haywood Fire Dept., Barren Metcalfe EMS, Alvey's Towing, and McCoys Towing assisted on scene.
