David  Dewayne  Turner, 48, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Monday, May 20th, at Monroe County Medical Center. David  was born in Tompkinsville, KY on June 14, 1964, a son of Homer Turner and the late Doris Lee Birge. He was a 1981 graduate of Gamaliel High School. In July of 1996 he married Karen (Pickerell) Turner, who survives him. He worked in the Case Packing Department at Dollar General in Scottsville, KY., for 14 years.

David  is  survived by four daughters, Tosha Cleary and her husband John of Tompkinsville; Karey Turner and her fiance', Bradley Botts of Tompkinsville; Brittany Banks and her husband Brian of Scottsville, KY, and Katlyn Turner, of Tompkinsville and by three sons, Clancy Bryant and his wife, Nicole; Christopher  Bryant and Brandon Turner, all of Tompkinsville. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren. David  is also survived by two sisters, Debbie Witty of Tompkinsville and Lisa Woods of Ft. Run. Also by three brothers, Donnie Turner and Joey Turner, both of Tompkinsville.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Doris Lee Birge, and one brother, Johnny Turner.

Funeral services will be held at Yokley Trible Funeral Home at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 23rd,  with Tim White officiating with burial is in the Neal Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday 3:00 P.M.- 9:00 P.M.   and Thursday 6:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
